Best Festive Irish Drinks for St Patrick's Day 2017

St Patrick's Day is a global celebration of Irish culture on or around March 17th. It particularly remembers St Patrick, one of Ireland's patron saints, who ministered Christianity in Ireland during the fifth century. The religious feast day for the patron saint of Ireland has become an international festival, embracing and celebrating Irish culture. With that, we've come up with a few traditional festive drinks that will keep you celebrating all the way to Sunday.

Mix up St. Patty’s Day with one of these traditional Irish drinks and cocktails. Here’s a list of cocktails/ drinks that will definitely have you signin’ Irish tunes and step dancing. 

Irish Buck: 
2 ounces Irish Mist Whiskey
Quarter ounce fresh lime juice
2 ounces ginger ale
Lime wheel

Add the whisky and lime juice to a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with ginger ale and garnish with a lime wheel. 

Celtic Twilight:
1 oz. Frangelico liqueur
1 oz. Baileys
1 oz. Jameson

Pot of Gold:
2 tbsp. pear juice
2 tbsp. Jameson
Sparkling champagne
Twist of lemon

Irish French Kiss: 
1 1/2 oz of Baileys
3/4 oz. Contreau
3/4 oz. Grand Marnier

The Black Nail:
1 ounce Irish Mist Whiskey
1 ounce Irish Mist Liqueur
Add your own twist by adding a slice of Orange peel

Jacob’s St. Paddy’s Day Spritzer:
- 'Try something festive & green'

2 parts Jacob’s Ghost White Whiskey
Half part DeKuyper Peachtree
6-8 fresh mint leaves
Juice of half a lime
Club soda
In a mixing glass, muddle mint leaves. Combine Jacob’s Ghost, DeKuyper Peachtree and lime juice. Pour into a highball glass and top off with club soda. Garnish with a lime wheel.
