Bonfire Night 2015: Where To Watch London's Best Firework Displays

Remember, remember the fifth of November...(and the sixth, seventh and eight actually) as Bonfire night hits London, marking the anniversary of Guy Fawkes’ plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament. Celebrate Bonfire Night in style at one of the plethora of spectacular fireworks display across the city.

Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival

This spectacular display of fireworks and bonfire is set in the elevated grounds of the iconic Alexandra Palace, high above North London with panoramic views across the city.

Battersea Park Fireworks Display

The theme this year is 'A Royal Night Out' to celebrate our longest reigning monarch, with an incredible fireworks display set to music chosen to celebrate the Queen. Often considered London’s best Bonfire night event, crowds reach 45,000 so get there early.

Blackheath Fireworks

Despite it’s village and family-friendly atmosphere, this is one of the biggest free community displays in London, attracting up to 100,000 people as the sky is lit up.

East Village E20 Fireworks Display

Lighting up the skies is an extravaganza choreographed to contemporary music set off from Victory Park within East Village, the east London neighbourhood which started as the Athletes' Village during the 2012 Olympics. Entertaining the crowds before the fireworks is a 500 light display reacting to movement and the wind.

Hackney Fireworks at Clissold Park

Hackney locals come together for the annual bonfire and fireworks extravaganza, synchronised to music, at Clissold Park, Stoke Newington. After the huge success of last year's event, the Bonfire night celebration will include a 20-minute fireworks display set to songs and entertainment for the whole family.

Hammersmith and Fulham Fireworks 

The Fulham Fireworks fiesta at Bishops Park is the west London warm-up to Saturday's Bonfire Night celebrations at Ravenscourt Park. Both events offer both a children's fireworks display and one for the adults, culminating in a display choreographed to space themed music.

Richmond Fireworks Display

From the Athletics Ground on the edge of Kew Gardens you can enjoy a spectacular Sunday evening of family fun with the annual Richmond Athletic Association choreographed fireworks display. Combine the fireworks with a stroll in the park or a late pub lunch by the river. There's also a big bonfire where Guy Fawkes will be duly frazzled, some fairground rides, live music and glasses of mulled wine aplenty.

Wimbledon Park Fireworks 

This Fireworks extravaganza at Wimbledon Park is the first of two Guy Fawkes events taking place in Merton this year, with the second happening on Saturday 7th November 2015 at Morden Park. At both venues there are two shows, one for children at 6.45pm and a second for adults starting at 8.30pm. There will also be two bonfires, both lit 15 minutes before each display begins. Take a stroll around the stalls and fairground rides to warm up before the shows commence.
