Christmas is over. The January blues take over. Days are long. Nights are dark. But not for much longer! Let there be light, as the Lumiere festival comes to London for the first time this month.
The free festival of light will illuminate iconic London landmarks and areas such as Westminster Abbey, Piccadilly, King’s Cross, Trafalgar Square, Mayfair and Regent Street.
Produced by Artichoke and supported by the Mayor of London, a host of international artists have produce iconic architecture transformed with 3D projections, interactive installations and other extraordinary light works.
In total, there will be 30 exhibitions on display from 6.30pm until 10.30 for four evenings, across January 14 – 17.
