Pineapple x Finery Fashion Collaboration

Get your dancing shoes on and strut your best foot forward - "I’m really happy with the final collection and can’t wait to see some of our dancers wearing it in the studio" - Debbie Moore. Find out what the new collection from Pineapple & contemporary womenswear brand Finery has just unveiled.

Pineapple founder, Debbie Moore has just launched a capsule athleisure collection with the womenswear brand Finery.

The ten-piece co-designed line features pieces named after ballet poses, for example, the Plie Wrap Body & Sissone stretch leggings. Each of these was inspired by extensive research into Pineapple's extensive archive.

Debbie has revolutionised dancewear for women since she started up the clothing brand Moore. Founded in 1979 in a disused pineapple-canning factory in London’s Covent Garden, she became the first to ever use lycra in the creation of ballet attire.

The ten-piece collection was launched yesterday, 15th Feb, exclusively at Selfridges & online. Make sure to check out the collection here: Selfridges & Pineapple

Selfridges says: "One of the most hotly-anticipated partnerships to emerge from the athleisure trend, the capsule is a collection that imbues the energy of the Covent Garden space with the refinement of contemporary tailoring"

So whether you want to recreate iconic moves from Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, or twirl your way around the studio there is something for you in this collection. This collaboration captures the heritage of dance and movement, as well as introducing fresh ideas.
