He was recently described as the sexiest politician in the world, and now it seems that even The Queen cant resist the charms of new Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as a flirtatious rapport ensued between the two as they attended a dinner for the Commonwealth Heads of Government in Malta.
Trudeau used a speech to point out that he was the 12th Canadian prime minister to serve during the Queens 63 year reign over Great Britain, also referring to the Queen's trips to Canada, including one in 1982 when she was welcomed by his father - the former prime minister Pierre Trudeau.
He said: Some of these memories are of formal state occasions. Some are more personal. One that I personally remember well from my childhood and indeed, treasure is this: it is 1982, Queen Elizabeth signs the Constitution Act, thus empowering Canadas legal foundation, including our Charter of Rights and Freedoms. On that cool day in April, seated next to you, was my father. Pierre Elliott Trudeau was your fourth Canadian prime minister. I am your twelfth.
The Queen disarmed the dashing Canadian with this reply: Thank you, Mr Prime Minister of Canada, for making me feel so old!, the Queen jokingly replied in her own toast.
