Housed in a former Victorian power station built in 1893, the building was originally designed to generate electric light for the Great Eastern Railway. After a high-profile campaign saved it from demolition years ago, it has been meticulously restored. Today, it stands as a testament to Shoreditch’s architectural history, retaining its iconic brickwork and soaring proportions.
The first thing you’ll notice upon entering is the sheer sense of scale. The interior is defined by double-height ceilings that create an expansive, loft-style atmosphere. Massive original windows flood the space with natural light during the day and industrial-chic aesthetics paired with lush greenery and warm lighting, make it welcoming for a sun-drenched and high-energy afternoon.

What are fees?
Fees are added to each Sintillate ticket, deposit or package that is paid. They cover the costs involved in providing our service. Without these fees, we wouldn’t be able to provide our service to you, our customer. Included in the fees are customer service and account handling costs, secure server maintenance and development costs, and a number of other costs involved in providing our service. A large portion of the fee also goes towards funding new technologies designed to improve your event and travel experience.
